ST COLUMB MAJOR

St Columb Major has  a wealth of historic buildings and streets full of character and is situated close to the beautiful north coast of Cornwall between Newquay and Padstow.

Many of the town's architectural features are described in detail in the Cornwall volume of The Buildings of England, yet St Columb remains something of a hidden jewel in Cornwall's crown.

The Our Town Arts and Heritage Festival aims to promote appreciation for our town's rich past, present and future. Artists are finding inspiration in our architecture, traditional customs and our stunning surroundings.

We will be introducing a heritage trail, hosting exhibitions and auctions plus a range of different creative events this summer following on from the famous St Columb Major Carnival week in August.

The end of the festival will coincide with Harmoniemusik. This well established event showcases acclaimed concerts of classical music performed by international standard musicians. This will form a fitting finale to the Arts and Heritage Festival.
